About Us
Our hope is to build relationships so that we might have the privilege of being part of each child's spiritual journey, as they become a devoted follower of Christ. We believe a child’s spiritual growth begins at birth so that as your child grows, his knowledge of biblical truths deepens.
Your child’s faith experience begins the minute they enter Parkside. It’s exciting and fun. The children’s ministry will team up with you in reaching, teaching, and building children of real faith and character that lasts. We also offer tools to equip you as the primary spiritual leader in the home. As a parent/guardian, you will have the opportunity to participate in Sunday School and worship knowing that your child is being taught the Bible and is well cared for.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday provides one of the best times for children to learn and interact with other children their same age while learning about the love of God. Visit our offices during the week or the Kids Welcome Desk on Sundays for class times and locations.

Special Needs
All Morning
The bloom room is a place where our special needs kids are cared for with loving adults and sensory elements.
Wednesday Nights
Join us every Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM for AWANA, where kids find their place, believe in Jesus, and grow as His disciples! Our program includes:

Scripture Memory: Kids learn and memorize Bible verses.

Devotionals: Inspiring messages to deepen their faith.

Game Time: Fun activities that foster teamwork and excitement.
The cost is $15 per child, to help offset the cost of AWANA books, supplies, and awards. Register online or in-person to be part of this enriching experience. We can’t wait to see you there!
Upcoming Events
KIDZ MINISTRY FALL ACTIVITIES
We have a lot of fun activities planned for our kids this fall!! From s'mores to school spirit to smashing pumpkins, our Sunday Fun Days will let our kids experience and learn about Jesus in some interesting ways. Plus, we have KidZone on Sunday nights (4:30-6:00 PM), AWANA on Wednesday nights (6:30-7:45 PM), Kidz Night In on September 21 (5:30-8:00 PM), and Pumpkins in the Park on October 26 (4:00-6:00 PM).
KIDZ MONTHLY MISSIONS PROJECT
In the Parkside Kidz Ministry, we want kids to leran to love God and others. Through mission opportunites, we are leading kids to show God's love in our community.
We are excited to launch to our fall mission project. All during the fall, kids will be collecting items for Operation Christmas Child Boxes.
Donations can be dropped off in the kids area during Sunday and office hours.
Volunteer
As we try to introduce the next generation to Jesus, WE NEED YOUR HELP! We require all volunteers to submit to a background check and to complete a ministry safe training. Just contact Kathy in the church office and we will set up a time to visit about how you can impact the next generation for Jesus!
AWANA
Each Wednesday night from 6:15 pm-7:30 pm our AWANA team helps kids (K-6th grade) learn about Jesus and memorize scripture. We alway can use volunteers to listen to kids recite memory verses, assist in recreation, and help kids get to place to place.
Sunday Morning
On Sunday Mornings we offer K4 Worship in one hour and Bible Study in the other hour. We begin at 9am for Babies through 4th Grade. In the classroom, teachers will follow a given curriculum provided by Lifeway to teach Bible lessons to the kids. During the worship hour our adults help with games, worship, and assisting the teachers.
KidZone Worship
KidZone Worship Arts is for kids in grades 1-6, and KidZone, Jr, is for kids 3 years-Kindergarten. Each Sunday night, from 4:30 0 6:00 PM, kids will learn how to glorify God through songs, choreography, and drama. We will also have childcare for kids 2 years and under.
